Savion Glover & Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo coming to Montreal

It looks like Spectra is signing some contracts. During the time of year that they usually do the Hydro-Quebec-lets-use-lots-of-energy-festival Savion Glover & Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo are going to be performing at Place des Arts. Mark down February 6 and February 8 in your calendars now.

BJM Danse in Portland Oregon

BJM Danse performed there last week and it was called 'charming,' and 'a pleasurable stage performance.' Over in Willamette, Riley Hooper copy/pasted some quotes from the BJM Danse press kit and then wrote the titles of what they perfomed.

André Ducharme finally gets around to mentioning dance

L'actualite appears to have jumped on the blog bandwagon and one of their blogs is written by André Ducharme who writes about things that happen on a stage. But after writing about just about everything else under the sun (including two posts on the Visual Arts!) he finally gets around to hyping Sankai Juku who is the first performance in the Danse Danse series this year.
